What is a coupon?
Coupons are discounts offered on items listed on eBay.com. You shoul meet all the criteria of the coupon in order to redeem the coupon. The option to use the coupon will only be available if the seller of the item accepts PayPal. You should pay for the item using your PayPal account.
How do I redeem a Coupon?
Log in with the User ID on the coupon at www.ebay.com. Purchase with sellers who accept PayPal. Just look for the PayPal logo.
Ensure the listing ends before the expiration date on the face of your coupon.
During checkout, select PayPal as your payment method.
Make sure the email address for your eBay User ID is also on your PayPal account.
When prompted, enter your redemption code on the face of your coupon.
The email address associated with my coupon is different from the one I use for my PayPal account. What do I do?
You need to add the email address for the User ID on the coupon to your PayPal account.
To add an email address, log in to your PayPal account, go to My Account, then the Profile subtab. Select Email and click Add to add an email address. Once you have added the email address to your PayPal account, follow the instructions to confirm the email address.
Once you have completed this step, you can redeem the coupon on an eBay purchase.
